Monday's Clean & Simple Challenge on SCS was to create a card using black and white, and 1 bold bright. LOL, bold brights aren't usually the colors I tend to lean towards, so I substituted Papertreyink's Hibiscus Burst.
Have a great one!
Stamps - Mega Mixed Messages, Autumn Leaves - Jazzy Swirls
Ink - Stazon Black, Hibiscus Burst
Paper - Whisper White, Basic Black, Black & White Basics
Miscellaneous - Hibiscus Burst Satin Ribbon, Prima Hydrangea, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Border Punch
Very pretty card Heather - I love the polka dots! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
ReplyDeleteLove the Hibiscus Burst substitution. I'm not a huge Bold Brights user myself, and I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only only with a naughty puppy! lol
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Heather! I love the layered sentiment and the colors!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Heather! I don't like the bold brights either. But this Hibiscus Burst is my kind of bold! :D Great job!
ReplyDeleteI love the sentiment on the flower on the ribbon, looks very cool!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is gorgeous and so dramatic! Great combination!
ReplyDeleteThis is an older post, Heather - but I wanted to say how much I love your clean design and big bold splash of color. This is terrific!
