Hello ello! Hope your Saturday is off to a great start. The way I see it, today has got to be better than yesterday! My DH plays softball once a week on Thursdays, and came home after the game with his right ankle the size of a grapefruit. Considering he stayed for the remainder of the game, could put his body weight on the injured ankle AND managed to drive home by himself, I thought we were looking at just a really bad sprain. Max. I elevated his foot, applied the ice and ran out to Harris Teeter (local 24 hour grocery chain) to grab some bandages to wrap his ankle. Then back to bed I went. LOL
On Friday, fast forward through two visits to our primary care, a stop at a local imaging center for an x-ray, and an appointment with an orthopedic dr, and my hubby is now sporting a cast for at least the next three weeks. Poor guy! Not only did he sprain his ankle, but he fractured his fibula. Oy!
I made this card for the Gradient is Radiant challenge over at the Moxie Fab World blog. As soon as I saw the Flamenco shower curtain Cath used as an inspiration piece, I *knew* what I wanted to do! It's a little hard to tell in the photo, but the background was stamped with one of the small images from the Vintage Labels set in versamark ink. I used three circle punches to make my flower, and distressed the edges before adhering them together.
Have a great one!
Stamps - Handwritten Notes, Vintage Labels
Ink - Versamark, Fresh Snow
Paper - Aqua Mist, Smokey Shadow, New Leaf
Miscellaneous - Staples, Sweet Blush Grosgrain Ribbon, Hibiscus Burst Grosgrain Ribbon, Raspberry Fizz Grosgrain Ribbon, Hot Pink Rhinestones
