Thank You

Hi everyone! LOL, as usual, the day has just gotten away from me... Cabin fever is in full effect, and I'm running out of ideas to keep my 4 1/2 year old out of trouble. I think we're going to bake some cookies in a little bit... LOL, that is, if I have everything we need in the cupboard. I just bought a dozen eggs the other day when I was able to get out in between storms, so at least that's one thing I know we have on hand. :)

I didn't have a chance to create anything new today, so I'm dipping back into my archives to find things I hadn't had a chance to post yet.  I'm hoping to get some time tonight to create a card for the current Embellish challenge.

Instructions:
  • Create 3 1/2" x 6" card base in teal cardstock.
  • Cut 2 1/2" x 5" white piece of CS and stamp plaid pattern, alternating red and green stripes.
  • Round corners of white CS, apply Scor-Tape to every other stripe, then sprinkle with glitter. Adhere to card base.
  • Stamp strip of green CS with white polka dots, then stamp sentiment in black ink.
  • Use corner rounder to create scallop on strip of white CS, then adhere to back of green CS.
  • Adhere sentiment strip to card base.

Supplies:
Stamps - Background Basics: Retro, Polka Dot Basics 2, Giga Guidelines
Ink - Pure Poppy, True Black, Fresh Snow, Kiwi Kiss
Paper - Bermuda Bay, Kiwi Kiss, Stamper's Select White
Miscellaneous - Corner Rounder, Glitter, Scor-Tape

  3. That's that retro background I keep telling myself I'm going to get one day . . . you tease! Very cute! And one thing that keeps 'em busy for a while is Play-Doh--much safer than eggs.
