Grateful For You

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a fabby Thursday! We're getting ready to head out to the park in a few, but I wanted to stop by and post these little cards before we go... :)

Oops, gotta run, everyone's waiting on me! Have a great day!! :)

Instructions:
  • Create a 4" square card base.
  • Stamp flower image in Versamark ink on the the bottom of the card, then heat set with white embossing powder.
  • Color in flower centers and outer petals with Copics.
  • Use ruler and white gel pen to create border.
  • Stamp sentiment in cardstock ink color.

Supplies:
Stamps - Year of Flowers: Violets, Signature Greetings
Paper - Basic Gray, Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet
Ink - Versamark, Berry Sorbet, Summer Sunrise, Smokey Shadow, Copics
Miscellaneous - White Embossing Powder, White Gel Pen

  4. These cards look so nice. I think the way you colored parts of them with copics give such a tone on tone result. You do such a good job with the white lines too!

  12. Heather... these cards are great. How do you keep the white embossing powder from sticking all over the card? When I try to emboss with white, I get little flecks all over the place.

  31. Oh, my! I caught this on Nicole's Papertrey blog, had to hop over here for card details. Beautiful. Really beautiful. Gotta go dig out my white gel pen and see if it will let me draw a continuous line that is at least 4 inches long!

  41. These cards are gorgeous. What kind of white gel pen do you have? It has such a fine point, and a clean continuous line. Did you do this in one pass, or did you have to make a couple of passes?
