Hello Friend

Howdy hey, my friends... :) I'm getting ready to call it a night in a few, but wanted to post this card I created the other day before I go. I love this floral stamp by Hero Arts, and it's fast becoming one of my new favorites. I think one of the things I like most about this stamp is that depending on the colors you use, you can really change the look and feel of the card.  And that definitely helps me stretch my stamping dollars. :)

One thing I wanted to point out that I wasn't able to capture in the photo is the shine from the flowers... After adhering them to the card base, I gave them a good coating of Crystal Effects. They are sooooo shiny and pretty IRL! :)

Well, that's it for me today, I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Saturday! :)

Instructions:
  • Cut out navy scallop circle using Nestabilities die.
  • Cut out circle using Nestabilities die and stamp with white woodgrain background image.
  • Stamp flower image twice onto white CS.
  • Color one image, then cut out.
  • Color flowers on second image, then cut out.
  • Adhere turquoise circle to navy scallop circle.
  • Adhere flower image to card base, then adhere second set of flowers with pop dots. Cover with Crystal Effects.
  • Stamp sentiment on scrap piece of green CS and attach to card base.

Supplies:
Stamps - Dogwood (Hero Arts), Sentiment by Hero Arts, Background Basics: Woodgrain (PTI)
Paper - Enchanted Evening, Hawaiian Shores, New Leaf, Stamper's Select White
Ink - Memento Black, True Black, Fresh Snow, Copics
Miscellaneous - Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Circle Nestabilities, Crystal Effects
