Hello! ;) We're in the final stretch before school ends, and I'm just about ready to panic with all that's left to do. I don't know why I wait until the bitter end every. single. year. to start thinking about year-end gifts and what not, but it never fails. And it's not like I have no idea the end of the year is coming, it's always in June, and I'm always struggling. Lol... Maybe next year I'll get my act in gear! ;)
I'm popping in to share a card I created for the current Crazy 4 Challenges C4C240 challenge. This week, the challenge was to use stencils. I've been hoarding my little stash of stencils for a while now, and am glad I finally had the nudge I needed to put them to use. So fun!
To create my card, I started by using washi tape to secure the diagonal stripe stencil to a piece of white CS. Next, I used three different distress ink colors to blend my background, then adhered the panel to a white card base. I then die cut three hello's on a piece of gray CS using the Hello Word Die from Whimsy Stamps before securing the gray CS to the card front with pop dots. To finish up, I used little dabs of glue to adhere the cutouts from the die cut letters.
Want to play along with us this week? All you need to do is create a card using a stencil, and link it up to the weekly post here.
Have a great one!
