Hello! It's the 1st of the month, which means I'm here w/a new Reverse Confetti sketch... Yay! This month's sketch is super fun, I really love how it can be used in a variety of ways.
To create my card, I started by first cutting a piece of watercolor paper down to 4 x 5.25" and adding a yellow and turquoise watercolor wash to mimic the diagonal layout of the sketch base. I die cut several butterfly shapes using the Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts on white CS, then stamped them with the coordinating Butterfly Dreams images in black ink. Next, I used the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts on light gray and white CS.
I used several of the flower and leaf images from Rose Garden and stamped them in teal, yellow and black ink onto the die cut circle. Once the ink was dry, I adhered the circle to the scalloped layer, and trimmed off one edge. The watercolor layer was then adhered to a light gray card base with foam tape. To finish up, I adhered the scallop circle and butterflies to the card front before embellishing with silver enamel dots.
