Wow, it's June 1st! Can you believe it?? How did we get here already?! People weren't kidding when they said that time seems to move faster the older you get. :) It's the start of a new month, which means it's also time for a new Reverse Confetti sketch challenge. I had a lot of fun with this month's sketch, and flipped it on its side to use as the blueprint for my card today.
To start, I first cut a piece of yellow textured CS, then layered it behind a piece of turquoise polka dot patterned paper. I then attached the layered CS to a kraft woodgrain card front using foam tape. Next, I stamped three pineapples from Pineapples Aplenty using orange, yellow and green inks, then cut them out with their coordinating Pinapples Aplenty Confetti Cuts dies. I then stamped one of the sentiment banners from Bitty Banners in green in, die cut it with the coordinating Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts, and adhered it to one of the pineapples.
Next, I stamped three flowers and centers using the Petals 'n Posies set, and die cut them using the Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts. Once they were die cut, the flowers were adhered to the pineapples. I then adhered the three pineapples to the card front, and covered the flowers with Sugared Stickles. To finish up, I cut a small strip of lime textured CS, attached it to the card front, then embellished with a strip of silver pearls.
