Hello! It's the first day of Reverse Confetti May sneak peeks, and in celebration of RC's 4th birthday, we're kicking things off with a blog hop with the lovelies from CardMaker Magazine. :) Hopefully you've reached my blog by way of Susan's blog, but if you're just joining in and would like to start from the beginning, please click here.
Today I'm sharing a card created using the new Miso Happy stamp set, and the Vertical Stripes Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and Hello Thanks Label Confetti Cuts dies.
To create my card, I started by first adhering a piece of patterned paper from my new 6x6 paper pad, Pattern Play, to a white card base. I then die cut a piece of Cloud White CS using the Vertical Stripes Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and adhered it to the card front. Next, I used the Tall Triangles Confetti Cuts on a piece of Iced Aqua CS, and adhered some of the die cut pieces to the card front.
I then used the Hello Thanks Label Confetti Cuts on Stone and Cloud White cardstocks, nestling the two pieces together and adhering them with washi tape. The sentiment from Miso Happy was stamped in black ink. I then added foam tape to the back of the die cuts, trimmed off the edge and attached the stamped panel to the card front. Next, I stamped the pandas in black ink, colored in their noses and die cut the images with the Miso Happy Confetti Cuts. I stamped two bamboo images onto watercolor paper, heat set them using clear embossing powder and then die cut them out. I then colored the images using watercolor markers and attached them to the card front once they were dry. To finish up, I adhered the pandas to the card front with foam tape and embellished with black enamel dots.
