FTL258 - Give Thanks

The weather here has been getting decidedly cooler in the mornings, so it's definitely beginning to feel as though we're heading into Fall (it was 45 degrees this morning when we headed to the bus stop).  I had to scramble to find some long sleeves for my kiddo, and the buttons were a little hard to do up in the back.  I ended up spending more time at the mall than I wanted to today, but she can't wear clothes that don't fit, it's not comfy.

I'm also trying to create cards which fit more into the season (color wise), but it's hard... I want my pinks, yellows, etc.! I love happy colors. :)

I created this card using the most recent Clean & Simple Stamping sketch (FTL258) as my starting point, as well as a couple different Reverse Confetti sets, Peacock Pretties & Forever Fall.  I flipped the sketch so that it would work better with the image that I wanted to use (feather), and substituted two rows of stamping for the cardstock strips shown on the sketch.  I am obsessed with heat embossing, and you're probably sick of seeing it, but I just love how embossed white really pops against the background vs. just stamping with white ink. :)

Have a great one!

Supplies:
Stamps - Forever Fall and Peacock Pretties (Reverse Confetti)
Paper - Hawaiian Shores, Kraft, Orange Zest, Stamper's Select White (PTI)
Ink - Versamark (Tsukineko)
Miscellaneous - Enamel Dots (Doodlebug Designs), White Embossing Powder (Hero Arts)
