February SFYTT - Love

Hello! I hope you've been having a wonderful President's Day weekend! I know Valentine's Day has come and gone, but I have a love-themed card to share today.  I've used non-traditional colors, so I figure this card can pretty much be used during any point in the year. :)

I created this card using this month's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) from Reverse Confetti and some pretty patterned papers! By using patterned papers and die cuts to create this card, it really came together quickly.  And as a suuuuper slow stamper, making a card from start to finish in less than an hour is a huge accomplishment. Lol!

I started with some gray and white patterned feather paper, and adhered it to a white card base.  I then cut a strip of black and white chunky striped paper, and banner cut one end.  Next, I die cut two Heart Love Pretty Panel Confetti Cuts using silver glitter CS and black CS, then adhered them together.  The die cuts were then adhered to a piece of aqua/mint patterned paper using pop dots.  The black and white strip I cut earlier was then adhered to the back of the aqua/mint layer, and then attached to the card front with pop dots.  To finish up, I embellished with teal enamel dots.

Want to play along with us this month? All you need to do is create a card based on the sketch below, and link it up to the post HERE on the Reverse Confetti blog by noon CST on the 27th... Easy peasy! :)

Have a great one!
