RC Blog Hop - Snowflake Pillow Box

Hello! It's the 8th of the month, which means it's Reverse Confetti blog hop time, and today I'm sharing one of the projects I created using the new Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts and frosted pillow box.

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Tenia’s blog. (If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please click here.)

To create my snowflake, I started by first die cutting all of the elements using yellow, white, turquoise and brown felt from the Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts.  I LOVE how there are so many different variations possible when assembling the pieces.  I started with a yellow base, then adhered the nesting white layer before attaching the turquoise snowflake from the smallest layer.  I then went back and added all the smaller elements starting with the white heart center and working my way to the outer edge.

I cut a piece of turquoise polka dot patterned paper to fit the inside of the frosted pillow box, then closed it up and embellished with a brown ribbon and bow.  To finish up, I adhered the felt snowflake to the pillow box front.  So easy! :)

I hope you've enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Lisa’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

Have a great one!
