Winnie & Walter Rerun - My Precious

Hello! It's time for another Winnie & Walter Rerun feature, and this month, we're focusing on the My Precious stamp set.

To create my card, I started by stamping a piece of white CS with one of the chevron images from V for cheVron in yellow-orange and pink inks.  I then die cut the white CS layer with one of the dotted rectangles using the Essentials:  Katherine Cutaways dies.  Next, I stamped the heart gem from My Precious in Versafine black ink, then heat set the image with clear embossing powder.

I used a combination of watercolor pencils and markers to color the gem before setting it aside to dry.  While I was waiting, I used the Take a Bow Cutaways on yellow felt and adhered the pieces together.  When the watercolor image was dry, I fussy cut it out, then adhered it to the white CS layer with foam tape.  The sentiment was then stamped in light gray ink before attaching the panel to a light gray card base.  To finish up, I adhered the bow with Scor-tape and added some Sugared Stickles to the gem.  I was going to embellish with some enamel dots, but after looking at my pic again, looks like I forgot to do that.  Hehe, oops! :P

Have a great one!
