This card was created for the SC145 Sketch Challenge on SCS. I struggled a bit trying to figure out what paper I wanted to use... I knew I wanted to use Linen Prints and Old Olive, but I couldn't for the life of me decide which pattern to use. At first I was using another piece, but then finally settled on this pink pattern after flipping the two about a hundred times. LOL
I started with a standard card base in Old Olive, then cut off 1" from the right margin. I then cut out my Chocolate Chip (3 x 5 1/4") and Linen Prints DS (2 3/4 x 5") layers. I added a strip of Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon to the two layers before attaching them to the card base. The sentiment was then stamped in Chocolate Chip.
The flower was stamped in Regal Rose on Very Vanilla CS, then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Once it cooled, I cut it out and mounted it on a piece of Very Vanilla CS using a pop dot. I also cut out a piece of Chocolate Chip and green Linen Prints DS paper to layer my image. The Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip pieces had the corners punched before mounting onto the green Linen Prints DS paper and attached to the card base.
