This card was created for the SC169 Sketch Challenge on SCS. You can find the original thread here.I started with a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card base of Barely Banana. I then stamped the Dot Background in White Craft Ink onto the CS, and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.
Next, I cut out the various layers: Certainly Celery (3 x 4"), floral patterned paper (2 3/4 x 3 3/4"), Pretty in Pink (2 3/4 x 3 1/4"), pink/green patterned paper (2 x 3"), Barely Banana (1 3/4 x 4"), and Whisper White (1 1/2 x 3 3/4"). They were then assembled, the ribbon was attached to the pink layer after scalloping the bottom edge, and all were adhered to the card base.
Then I realized, D'oh!, I probably should've stamped my image before I stuck it down. I don't know WHAT I was thinking, I must be out of practice... LOL Oh well! :) I inked up the stamp using my Stampin' Write Markers in Regal Rose and Certainly Celery, and crossed my fingers...
To finish up, I stamped the Thanks So Much from the Lots of Thoughts set onto Whisper White CS, and punched it out with the small oval punch. I also punched another small oval out of Certainly Celery CS and attached it to the back of the WW oval, then adhered them to a large Pretty in Pink oval. LOL, that was wordy! :)
