PTI Swatchbook

102009b, originally uploaded by inglishrea.

Hi everyone! How's today shaping up for you? I've been cleaning like a maniac lately, so I haven't had much time to make cards... LOL, truth be told, hours of cleaning totally wipes me out and I've been going to bed quite a bit earlier than I had been in recent months. Haha, how sad! My *plan* is to stay up late tonight, since I haven't even gotten a chance to ink up my Giga Guidelines set yet. Inexcusable if you ask me. LOL...

When I look back on the cards I used to make when I first started stamping, and then compare them to the cards I'm creating now, I think the biggest difference is color. I *love* using fun, bright colors. LOL, I'd probably use them year round if I could! Haha, who am I kidding? It's gonna happen!! :) The tricky part sometimes is figuring out what colors will look like together. I'm a super visual person, so it really helps me to actually *see* them side-by-side. This is where my friend Becky Carafa comes in. She's offering these PTI Swatchbooks (inspired by Nichole Heady) on her blog for purchase. To get an idea of how three colors will look together, you just flip open the book to find the corresponding color pages. That's it! No more searching through scraps or grabbing full sheets to try to find combos I like. Woot!

You can find all the deets here: PTI Swatchbooks

The flower on my cover was inspired by the gorgeous Medallion image Nichole Heady created when she was showcasing the Mod Squad set back in July.

Have a great day!! :)
