Hi everyone and welcome to the second day of There She Goes previews. Today, the Trendsetter's are hosting a TSG Sweet Pea/Chem 101 Blog Hop Challenge. Hopefully you've come to my blog by way of Donna, but if not and you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please visit the There She Goes blog.
I have a set of note cards to share today featuring the Sweet Pea set, and each measures 2 3/4" x 4", the perfect size for adding a little note or for tucking a gift card inside. (Sweet Pea is a 3" x 4" mini set that includes 8 stamps and will sell for $7.)
The design is the same for all three cards, but I love how changing a color can change the feel of a card... That, and these colors just make me happy! :) I embossed the sweet pea image with white embossing powder, and then went back and lightly colored in areas of each flower with a Copic that's a couple shades darker than the cardstock base. Since I added the color lightly, I was able to keep the ink from bleeding through to the inside of the cards.
Would you like to be entered for your chance to win the Sweet Pea set? All you have to do is visit each of the Trendsetter's blogs and leave a comment on their challenge post, then head on back over to the There She Goes blog and leave your name via Mr. Linky. (Winner will be announced March 27th during the release party chat.)
Thanks for stopping by my blog today... Please visit the There She Goes blog for more information, and head on over to see Holly to continue today's hop!
