FTL231 - Thank You

Hi, everyone! Seems like it's been forever since I last posted... Funny how I always end up saying that. :P Life has a way of demanding attention and refusing to be ignored.  I've been keeping myself busy with a bathroom remodeling project that came about unexpectedly.  We had been dealing with a mold issue in the shower (gross!) ever since we moved into this house, and recently started finding this random puddle of water on the floor hours after the shower had been used.  At first I blamed the hubster for being messy and splashing water everywhere (haha), but it turns out it wasn't his fault (this time!).

After poking around a bit, I found that water had been getting behind the tiles, running underneath the shower pan, and then pooling behind the moulding.  How did I discover this? I started picking at the moulding and water came dribbling out, the wood was complete mush! The best part??? After I popped off the first tile, I found a SLUG hiding on the back.  Yes, a SLUG!! Ewwwwww... I don't even know how that's possible!!! I still gag when I think about it.  Haha.

Today's card was created for this week's Clean & Simple Stamping FTL231 sketch.  LOL, it may have a little too much going on to qualify as CAS, but I'm really digging the bling. :)

I used one of my all-time favorite stamp sets from There She Goes (Fabulous) to create this card.  I love, love, love the border stamps in this set, and the flowers are so fun! :) That wraps it up for me today, but you should see me posting with a little more regularity as I've re-joined the lovely ladies on the DT over at There She Goes... :)

Have a great one!

Supplies:
Stamps - Fabulous (There She Goes)
Ink - Versamark, Slate (Fresh Ink), Red Currant (Fresh Ink), Fuschia (Fresh Ink)
Paper - Soft Stone and Stamper's Select White (PTI)
Miscellaneous - Clear Gems (Hero Arts), White Embossing Powder (Hero Arts)

And, oh the joys of home repairs! I don't think I'd be able to handle finding a slug in my walls either! Eek! Hope it all works out smoothly for you.
