Hello! It's the 8th of the month, which means it's Reverse Confetti blog hop time, and today we'll be featuring items with a "Summer ABC" theme!
The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Veraa’s blog. (If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please click here.)
First things first, I also wanted to take a moment to share the winner of the PARTY HATS set from my August 1st post... The set goes toooooooooo...
Michelle, when you have a moment, please email me with your contact information at inglishrea [at} yahoo [dot] com.
For my projects today, I created a fun thank you card using one of the Weather or Dot Quick Card Panels to make my sunburst, as well as a Project Life page. To start, I first cut apart the green and teal triangle QCP, and layered the pieces onto mint CS (the white pieces are the backs of the QCP). I then die cut the CS bits and pieces with a circle die, then adhered the die cut to a light gray card base.
The focal sentiment was then die cut using the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts on a piece of white CS. The remainder of the sentiment from Fancy Words Coordinates was stamped in teal ink onto a white strip of CS, and adhered to the card base. To finish up, I adhered the die cut words to the card front and embellished with silver enamel dots.
Next up, I created a Project Life layout to document some of the time we spent at Caladesi Island State Park in Florida a couple of summers back. What a beautiful place! The sun was really intense that day, but we really enjoyed the time we spent there.
A little watercolor, some die cuts and blended distress inks made these 3x4 cards come together SO quickly!
Here's a close up of the cards I created...
Summer Lovin' Card - Pineapples Aplenty and coordinating Pineapples Aplenty Confetti Cuts,
Life the Life Card - Fabulous Flamingo and coordinating Fabulous Flamingo Confetti Cuts, Weather it Together Confetti Cuts, Doin' the Wave Confetti Cuts, Perfectly Paisley Confetti Cuts, Posted Note Sentiments
So Much Fun Card - Geometric Confetti Cuts, Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts, Here's the Story
I hope you've enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Lisa’s blog.
