Countdown to Confetti: Wishing You...

Hello! It's the 5th of the month, and that means it's time for another round of Reverse Confetti sneak peeks! :) For my card today, I'm featuring the new Unicorn Wishes stamp set and coordinating dies. I am a huge fan of Dawn Machell's adorable animal illustrations, and this unicorn is no exception.  I just about geeked out the first time I saw this sweet unicorn. ♥

To create my card, I started by adding a light aqua ribbon to a kraft woodgrain card base.  I then adhered one of the So Very Spring Quick Card Panels to the card front using foam tape.  Next, I stamped one of the sentiments from Unicorn Wishes in black ink onto light gray CS, trimmed one end in a banner shape, then adhered the sentiment tot the card front.

The unicorn was stamped in Versafine ink and heat set with clear embossing powder before coloring with watercolor markers.  Once the image was dry, I cut it out using the Unicorn Wishes Confetti Cuts.  I then colored the horn and feet with a silver glitter pen, and added a ton of shimmer to the unicorn's muzzle, mane and tail using a clear Winks of Stella marker.  To finish up, I adhered the unicorn with foam tape to the card front, adhered the aqua bow and embellished with silver enamel dots.
