RC Sneak Peek Day 1 - We Mermaid to Be Friends

Hello! It's the first day of sneak peeks for the Reverse Confetti June Release! There is so much cuteness coming your way this month, and today's reveal is one of my faves from this release. :) 

To create my card, I started by first cutting a piece of watercolor paper to 4 x 5.25", then wetting it with water and using Ken Oliver Color Burst Watercolor Powders to create the background.  While it was drying, I stamped the mermaid and friends images from Mermaid Kisses in Versamark ink, then heat set them with clear powder.  I then die cut the embossed pieces using the Mermaid Kisses Confetti Cuts, and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Watercolor Markers.  

Next, I used the Scalloped Tag Layer Confetti Cuts on white CS, then adhered the die cut tag to the watercolor layer before adhering the panel to a light gray card base using foam tape.  I then die cut a gray CS circle using the Detailed Circle Confetti Cuts, and stamped it with one of the sentiments from Mermaid Kisses.  The Doin' the Wave Confetti Cuts were then used on vellum, and two of the strips were adhered to the card front to mimic water.  Once all my stamped images were dry, I adhered the various elements to the card front using foam tape.  To finish up, I adhered the sentiment circle to the card front, covered bits and pieces of the images with Sugared Stickles and embellished with aqua glitter enamel dots.
