The circle die cut was then adhered to the card front with foam tape.  One of the sentiments from Autumn Blessings was stamped in Versamark ink onto Iced Aqua cardstock, heat set with white embossing powder, then adhered to the card base.  To finish up, I embellished with black enamel dots.

Birthday Tweetings

Hello! I'm popping in to share a card I created using Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, including another one of my favorites illustrated by Dawn Machell, Toucan of Friendship.

To create my card, I started with an Iced Aqua card base and topped it with a piece of Stone cardstock that had been die cut with the Leaves Cover Panel Confetti Cuts.  Next, I stamped a bunch of the images from the Toucan of Friendship stamp set in Versafine black ink, then heat set them with clear embossing powder.  The images were then colored with Zig Clean Color markers and die cut with the Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts once they were dry.

A white circle was die cut using the Scallops 'n Circles Confetti Cuts, and then the toucan, flowers, and leaves images were adhered to the circle using foam tape and liquid adhesive.  The embellished circle was then attached to the card front with foam tape.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink onto a piece of RC Aqua cardstock, and the ends were trimmed into flag shapes and curled before adhering it to the card base.  To finish up, I embellished with silver enamel dots.

Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop - I'm So Glad We're Friends

Hello! CardMaker Magazine has teamed up today with Pretty Pink Posh for a super fun blog hop showcasing some of their awesome products. :) Hopefully you've reached my blog by way of Rebecca Keppel's blog, but if you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please click HERE.

One of my favorite things to do is look for ways to use stamps other than for their originally intended purpose.  The flowers on this card were actually created by using the tiny vase image from the Friends Forever stamp set.  A little repeat stamping in a circle and BOOM, now you have flowers.  Lol, I love that! :)

To create my mini-card, I started by first using one of the edge dies from the Stitched Notes on the top and bottom of a piece of white cardstock.  One of the sentiments from Friends Forever was then stamped in Versafine black ink onto the white die cut panel.  Next, I stamped one of the fox images from Fox Friends in Versafine black ink onto watercolor paper, then heat set it with clear embossing powder.  The image was then die cut and colored with Zig Clean Color markers and set aside to dry.

I then stamped the tiny vase outline image from Friends Forever in Versafine black ink onto white cardstock in small circles to create the flowers.  Next, I went back and offset stamped the solid images onto the flowers before fussy cutting them out.  The sentiment stamped panel was adhered to a sea glass cardstock card base (3.5x5") with foam tape, and the flowers were adhered on top.  To finish up, I adhered the fox to the card front and embellished with silver enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by today, next up on the hop is Kat Benjamin's blog. (To see the full list of today's participants, please click HERE.)

Have a great one!

You're So Tweet...

Hello! My husband and daughter are off visiting an amusement park today, so I'm taking full advantage of my alone time and having a crafting day! :)

To create my card, I started by first die cutting some circles using the Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts and the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts on aqua, yellow and coral cardstock.  I then arranged the circles on a light gray woodgrain card base, adhering them with foam tape when I was happy with their placement.  I then stamped one of the toucans and a couple of the flowers from Toucan of Friendship in Versafine black ink, then heat settting them with clear powder.

I then colored the images using Zig Clean Color markers, and once they were dry they were die cut using the Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts.  The die cuts were then adhered to the card front using foam tape.  To finish up, I stamped the sentiment in black ink onto lime cardstock, trimmed it with a banner end, and adhered it to the card front with foam tape before embellishing with enamel dots.

Have a great one!

RC Blog Hop - A Cheerful Hello

Hello! It's the 8th of the month, which means it's Reverse Confetti blog hop time *and* all the goodies we've been showcasing for the past few days are now available.  YAY! :)

To create my card, I started by first stamping a bunch of the images from Toucan of Friendship in Versafine ink, then heat embossing them with clear embossing powder.  Once they were all embossed, I then ran them through my big shot using the Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts.  Next, I colored all the images using Zig Clean Color watercolor markers and Ranger Distress Ink markers.  My Toucan looks a little crazy, but I modeled it after a Keel-billed Toucan, they are *gorgeous*! :)

While the images were drying, I stamped a light gray card base with the largest stripe from So Stripey in Versamark.  Once the images were dry, I arranged the shapes into a wreath shape, then adhered them to the card front with foam tape.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink onto aqua cardstock, then inserted into the wreath.  To finish up, I embellished with aqua rhinestones and gray enamel dots.

I hope you've enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!
