RC Sneak Peek Day 1 - Bearing Gifts

Hello! It's the first day of sneak peeks for the Reverse Confetti November Release, and there is so much awesomeness headed your way this month! It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Dawn Machell, her illustration style always brings a smile to my face, and this adorable set is no exception.  CA-UTE!

To create my card, I started with a Mist card base, and topped it with a Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts die cut from Iced Aqua CS that had been partially backed with Cloud White CS to create a snowy backdrop.  I then stamped several images from the Bearing Gifts stamp set in Versafine ink, and heat set them with clear embossing powder before coloring them with Zig clean color markers.

 

While the watercolor images were drying, I stamped the trees in black ink onto papers from the new Warm Heart paper pack, and fussy cut them by hand.  I then used the Bearing Gifts Confetti Cuts on cloud White CS.  The trees come with three stacked triangles, but to vary the height some I cut off the top triangle from two of the trees.  Once the watercolor images were dry, they were cut out using the coordinating Bearing Gifts Confetti Cuts and then adhered to the card base.  To finish up, the sentiment was stamped on a Baby Blue CS banner, adhered to the card front, then I adhered stickles to the mountain tops before embellishing with blue enamel dots.
