TSG45 - Happiness

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great Wednesday! :) Just popping in with a card I created for the most current There She Goes Challenge: Yellow Spring Flowers. The challenge? To create a card w/yellow & flowers, though you don't necessarily have to use yellow flowers. *wink*

Want to play along? All you have to do is upload your card to your blog or online gallery, and link your project using Mr. Linky on the TSG blog (be sure to use the code TSG45 if uploading your card to SCS).

Check out what some of the other Trendsetter's have created for this challenge:

Have a great day! :)

Instructions:
  • Create A2 card base using yellow CS.
  • Cut 3 3/4" x 5" piece of kraft CS and stamp with white flowers.
  • Outline flowers with T1 Copic, and fill in flower centers with coordinating Copic.
  • Adhere kraft layer onto a piece of blue CS, attach ribbon, then adhere to card base.
  • Stamp sentiment in blue ink, cut out with Nestabilities shape, then adhere to card base with pop dots.
  • Add bow.

Supplies:
Stamps - Flowers of Happiness
Ink - Fresh Snow, Ocean Tides, Copics
Paper - Lemon Tart, Ocean Tides, Kraft, Stamper's Select White
Miscellaneous - Nestabilities Labels 4, Yellow Satin Ribbon

  20. Ocean Tides and Lemon Tart - there's a pretty combo. I have a hard time with Ocean Tides...it's kinda blah to me like Melon Berry - guess you gotta use it with a pretty color with some pop like you have here to make it look good.
