C4C197 - Happy Anniversary

Happy Saturday! My friend Jessie is hosting the series of August challenges for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog, and asked me if I would like to play along.  Of course I said yes! :) The current C4C197 challenge is to use paper piecing.

To create my card, I started with a kraft base, then stamped and embossed a series of bird cages in clear and one in white.  I also white embossed a single cage onto polka dot patterned paper, then cut it out and adhered it to the card base.  To finish up the card, I stamped the sentiment, layered it onto yellow cardstock, then added a turquoise twine bow. :)

Wanna play along? All you have to do is create a card/project using the current theme, upload it to your blog or SCS gallery using the keyword C4C197, then head on back over to the C4C blog and link up your creation.  Easy peasy!

Have a great one!
