FSS Birthday Bash - Birthday Wishes Crafty Friend

Fresh Squeezed Stamps is turning 1, and they're having a week long birthday celebration! :) All of the members of the current DT are creating cards/projects featuring the newly released "Paper, Scissors, Ink" stamp set.  In addition to the posts by the DT, Ryann and Shannon have invited a bunch of special guests, and are hosting giveaways and fun challenges.  Be sure to stop by and see what they have in store over at the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog!

To create my card/giftcard holder, I started with a trifold tutorial from Splitcoaststampers, which you can find here.  It's been forever and a day since I last created one of these pocket cards, and I forgot how fun it can be to create something other than my usual traditional cards. :) A couple things to note about my card:  I stamped the Paper Scissors Ink set onto kraft cardstock using versamark ink, then heat set it with clear embossing powder before adhering it to the turquoise belly band; I also use the birthday wishes sentiment from Trendy Triangles and combined it with crafty friend from the newly released set to create the perfect custom sentiment.

Have a great one!
