Clearly Whimsy Stamps - Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello! Today marks the first sneak peek day of the ...

Clearly Whimsy Stamps October 2014 release

Over the next 3 days we will reveal the new October 2014 Clearly Whimsy Stamps products. We are releasing 7 new clear stamp sets and 5 dies/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store today and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Saturday. This month we are thrilled to welcome Michelle Short and Lisa Henke as our Guest Designers. Welcome ladies! We are so happy that you are joining us for this release!

Today we are revealing the Penguin Fun 4x6” stamp set and Tremendous Triangles 4x6” stamp set, together with the coordinating Penguin Fun die set and the Tremendous Triangles die set. Hop on over to the Whimsy blog for more details.

For my card, I used the Penguin Fun and Tremendous Triangles sets.  I started with a medium gray card base, and stamped the sentiment and snowflakes in versamark ink before heat setting with white powder.  I then stamped the two large triangles in light gray ink, and two small triangles in dark gray ink, and cut them out.  I then cut a snowbank shape, and adhered it to the card base.  I then stamped the penguin in dark gray Stazon ink, then watercolored his nose and feet.  While they were drying, I cut a pond shape from mint CS, and adhered it to the card front.  I then adhered the trees to the card base with pop dots before covering the large trees with scattered stickles.  I stamped the hat in red, then fussy cut it out.  Once the penguin was dry, I adhered it to the card front with pop dots and attached the hat.  To finish up, I embellished with stickles and glossy accents.

Here's a peek of some of the new goodies being released on Saturday:
