Hello and happy September! :) It's the start of a new month, which means it's also time for a new Reverse Confetti sketch challenge. Summer vacation is finally over in our area, and our kiddos have been back at school for the past few days. Call me a weirdo, but I wish Linds was still here with me. :) I miss that girlie when she's gone!
To create my card, I started by first cutting a turquoise CS layer and repeat stamped it with the largest polka dot strip from Whole Lotta Dots to create a tone on tone background. The stamped panel was then adhered to a gray woodgrain card base. Next, I used the Topped Off Tag Confetti Cuts on blue CS, and topped it with the Big Stripes Layer Tag Confetti Cuts die cut from white CS. I then used the Hang Ups, Too Confetti Cuts on Turquoise CS and adhered it to the tag before attaching it to the card base with foam tape.
The koala image from Bear Hugs was stamped in Versafine ink onto watercolor paper, then heat set with clear powder. The image was then colored with Zig Clean Color markers. Once the image was dry, it was die cut using the Bear Hugs Confetti Cuts. The sentiment was stamped in black ink onto a strip of green CS that had been die cut using the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts. To finish up, the koala and sentiment flag were adhered to the tag with foam tape, then I embellished with blue enamel dots.

Have a great one!

ReplyDeleteVery sweet card...love the cute koala bear. The design of the card is fabulous. I share your feelings of having my kids around too (my kids went back to school this week here in Maryland and the house is very quiet) so I guess I am a weirdo too! :-)
