October SFYTT - Lucky Me to Have a Friend Like You

Hello and happy October! :) It's the start of a new month, which means it's also time for a new Reverse Confetti sketch challenge.  I'm off camping for the weekend with the fam, but I wanted to pop in and share the card I created for this month.  I love camping in the fall, hopefully the air is chilly, the fire is warm and the rain is non-existent! Lol! :)

To create my card, I started by cutting some pieces of patterned paper from the Fright Night paper pad I designed, and adhered them to a Cloud White CS card base. (The herringbone pattern was attached directly to the card base, and the polka dot and box patterns were adhered with foam tape to give them a little dimension.)  I then stamped several of the flower and leaf images from Blooms 'n Buds (quite possibly one of my all-time FAVORITE Reverse Confetti sets) in gray, black and Iced Aqua inks before cutting them out with the coordinating Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts.

I then die cut a circle using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts on a piece of Cloud White CS, and stamped it with one of the sentiments from A Friend Like You.  I used the Wheat Confetti Cuts on white, light and medium gray cardstocks, and attached them along with the flower/leaf cut outs behind the sentiment circle.  To finish up, the sentiment layer was attached to the card front with foam tape, then I embellished with clear gems.

Want to play along with us this month and be entered to win a gift certificate to the RC store? Please see the Reverse Confetti blog for full details! :)

Have a great one!
