SCS Challenge - V

Here's another card I created for one of the SCS Challenges from early last week. For this challenge we needed to incorporate black on the card to help make it pop.

I started with a 4 1/4" square card base of Certainly Celery CS and a 2 1/4" square piece of Basic Black CS. I stamped my Garden Silhouettes image in Basic Black on Whisper White CS, then trimmed it to fit. I adhered the image onto the Basic Black square, and attached the Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon. Once that was finished, I attached the layer to my card base and used my Sakura Glitter Pen to give the flower image a little more sparkle. :)

Details:
Stamps - Garden Silhouettes
Ink - Basic Black
Paper - Certainly Celery, Basic Black, Whisper White
Miscellaneous - Purely Pomegranate, Sakura Glitter Pen

  1. Both of these are fantastic. Each of them is so different, but so great.

  2. LOVE this card. I always love black on a card. I used to use it all the time, before I started to get addicted to chocolate chip.
