TLC137 & CC135 - Friends Forever

This card was created for two SCS challenges... TLC135 (technique challenge - acetate card) & CC135 (color challenge - Basic Gray, Basic Black, River Rock). I've never made an acetate card before, so didn't want to miss the opportunity. The only downside is that they're super hard to take a picture of... LOL, it almost looks like everything is floating. :P

I started with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" piece of acetate, and scored it in half at 4 1/4". I then stamped my design in the lower left corner in Stazon ink, then rotated the card 180 degrees so I could do the same on the other end of the card.

While I was waiting for the ink to dry, I cut out my layers: Basic Gray (2 1/2 x 3 1/4"), River Rock (2 1/4 x 3"), Very Vanilla (2 x 2 3/4"), and then used my corner rounder to scallop the bottom layer.

I then stamped my image in River Rock ink onto the Very Vanilla layer, then attached all three layers together. I cut out other layers for the inside/back of the card, and attached them as well to the card base. To finish it off, I added a piece of Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon.

Details:
Stamps - FPD From the Garden, So Many Sayings
Ink - Stazon Black, River Rock, Basic Gray
Paper - Basic Gray, River Rock, Very Vanilla
Miscellaneous - Acetate, Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon, Corner Rounder
