TLC139 - Thank U Box
I finally had a chance last night to finish this up, and wanted to make sure I got a chance to post this before too much time went by. :)
This Peek-a-Boo box was created for the TLC139 Technique Lover's challenge. The template for the box can be found on the SCS web site in the challenge thread.
I started with a 4 x 9 1/2" piece of Apple Cider DS paper, and scored/cut it out according to the dimensions given on SCS. Once the paper had been scored and cut as needed, I used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes into the sides of the box. After the holes were punched, I assembled the box, and then weaved the Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon around the box.
Once that was done, I punched a hole in the center panel using my 1 1/4" circle punch, and then stamped the small True Friend flower image onto a 2" square piece of Acetate using Gold pigment ink.
I then stamped my sentiment in Really Rust onto Very Vanilla CS, and layered it with Chocolate Chip and River Rock CS before attaching it to the underside of the lid.
Next, I used my scallop punch on a piece of River Rock CS, then punched out a 1 3/8" piece of Chocolate Chip CS, and a 1 1/4" piece of Really Rust CS.
For the main image, I used my Old Olive, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Markers to color in the flower, then cut it out leaving a small 1/4" piece of paper at the bottom. I cut a slit in the Really Rust 1 1/4" circle, and then slid the flower into place and secured it with mono adhesive. The different layers were then adhered together and before attaching it to the Peek-a-Boo box, I added various sizes of the Stampendous Stick-a-peel stickers to the image.
Details:
Stamps - True Friend
Paper - Apple Cider DS, River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Very Vanilla
Ink - Really Rust, Gold Pigment Ink, Chocolate Chip/Old Olive/Really Rust Stampin' Write Markers
Miscellaneous - Stampendous Stickers, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Acetate
