CC140, SC150 - Good Thing

I created this card using the CC140 Color Challenge and SC150 Sketch Challenge on SCS this week. The CC140 Challenge was to use Purely Pomegranate, Kraft, and Whisper White... I didn't have any Kraft CS, so I used Sahara Sand instead.

I started with a standard card base of Sahara Sand (4 1/4 x 5 1/2"), then cut out the panels for the card base (Whisper White - 2 1/4 x 4 1/4", Purely Pomegranate - 2 1/8 x 4 1/4"). Once those were cut, I added a piece of Chocolate Satin Ribbon and Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon before adhering the panel to the card base.

Next, I stamped the large flower from Time Well Spent twice in Stazon Timber Brown ink, and then stamped the small flower three times. Once those images were stamped, I colored them with my Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate and Sahara Sand ink pads.

While the images were drying, I cut out the layers for the main image (Whisper White - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2", Sahara Sand - 3 x 4", Purely Pomegranate - 3 1/8 x 4 1/8", Whisper White - 3 1/4 x 4 1/4"), and then used my Ticket Corner Punch on each layer. On the smallest Whisper White layer I stamped another one of the flowers from Time Well Spent in Purely Pomegranate ink. I then adhered the layers together and attached it to the card base using mini-pop dots.

Once my images were dry, I cut out the various layers and attached them using mini-pop dots, then added Crystal Stickles for fun.

When the Stickles were dry, I attached the flower to the card base using mini-pop dots, then stamped my sentiment in Purely Pomegranate ink.

Details:
Stamps - Time Well Spent
Paper - Sahara Sand, Purely Pomegranate, Whisper White
Ink - Purely Pomegranate, Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip
Miscellaneous - Chocolate Satin Ribbon, Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon, Ticket Corner Punch, Crystal Stickles
