This was going to be a little different, but in the end, I still think it's cute! :)
I started with a standard card base in Whisper White (4 1/4 x 5 1/2"), and then tied a piece of Olive grosgrain ribbon at the top. Next, I cut out the two strips of paper for the bottom of the card out of Bali Breeze DS paper, and used the small corner rounder on one of the pieces.
I adhered both pieces to the card base, and then stamped the bird images onto two scraps of paper. I cut out the birds, attached them to the card base and drew beaks and legs for the birdies.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of scrap paper, cut it out, and layered it onto a piece of Bali Breeze DS paper before adhering to the card base. To finish up, I drew the strings for the birds to hold on to, and cut out two small flowers for my sentiment panel.
Details:
Stamps - A Little Birdie
Ink - Basic Black
Paper - Whisper White, Bali Breeze
Miscellaneous - Corner Rounder, Olive Grosgrain Ribbon
My stuff never turns out like I imagine...I try to not think and just let it flow. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how the birdies are holding the sentiment and the string also looks like a little worm. Just too cute!
