Color Inspiration 40 - Praying for Friends

The colors for this week's Color Inspiration Challenge were More Mustard, So Saffron, Taken With Teal, Old Olive and White. Very fun combo! You can find the original details of the challenge on Kristina's blog here.

I know, I know, another card with detail cutting... LOL, I don't know why I am the way I am, but I really like tedious cutting. :) I wanted to keep this card kind of simple because I think the floral branches are soft and delicate and I didn't want them to be overpowered.

This card came together really quickly. I placed my Whisper White CS into my embossing folder, ran it through the Cuttlebug, and then lined up my paper so I could pass it through a second time on the bottom of the card.

I used my Stampin' Write markers to color the floral image, and then cut out the impressions. I stamped my sentiment on a 2 3/4" x 3" piece of Whisper White CS, and layered it onto a piece of So Saffron CS. Next, I tied a bow at the top of the card with Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, and popped the sentiment up with dimensionals to finish it off.

Details:
Stamps - Thoughts & Prayers
Ink - So Saffron, More Mustard, Taken with Teal, Old Olive
Paper - Whisper White, So Saffron
Miscellaneous - Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Cuttlebug Swiss Dot Embossing Folder
