Embellish Challenge - Birthday

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! :) We're getting ready to head down to VA for the day, so I apologize in advance for the super short post. :)

This card was created for the most recent Embellish Magazine challenge. The challenge? To create a birthday card using Raspberry Fizz, Enchanted Evening, New Leaf, and Dark Chocolate (or similar). At first I wasn't sure what I was going to do, but once I got started, it all just sort of fell together. LOL

Have a great weekend! :)

Instructions:
  • Create brown A2 card base.
  • Stamp flower background on bottom of card base with Versamark ink, then heat set with white embossing powder.
  • Stamp large flower from In Bloom three times, and stamp the leaves once. Color with Copics and cut out.
  • Assemble flower and add Stickles to the top and bottom layers.
  • Cut out die shape with Cuttlebug and stamp sentiment in brown ink. Layer onto blue die shape.
  • Adhere die shape to card base, attach flower/leaf images, and embellish with rhinestones.

Supplies:
Stamps - In Bloom, Signature Greetings, Background Basics: Petal Power
Ink - Versamark, Dark Chocolate, Memento Black, Copics
Paper - Dark Chocolate, Enchanted Evening, Stamper's Select White
Miscellaneous - Pink Rhinestones, White Embossing Powder, Nestabilities Labels 9

  27. Oh my! Heather, will you ever know how you made my day with your comment on my blog! :D
I noticed that you commented on my blog several times before, which always made me happy, but receiving a word of encouragement from you is a whole different story - heck, I'm surprised!
Thank you for giving me neverending inspiration. I'd attempt to CASE some of your stunning work at times, but well - I've still got a lot to learn! lol
I can also blame you for falling in hopeless love with PTI stamps! Hopeless it is though, as I live in Australia, and unfortunately shipping costs for these beauties triple their prize at best... *sigh*
    Take care,
    Iwona
