Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge - Brown, Blue & White

Hi everyone! Hope your day is a fabulous one. :) I woke up with a headache this morning, and it's persisting, so if I write something strange, let's just blame it on the pain. LOL!

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge. This week, our challenge was to create a card using brown, blue and white. I created a super simple card using the challenge colors, and incorporated my favorite little Basic Grey Clear Stamps.

Want to play along with us? Just upload a project to your blog or SCS gallery (using JBE095 as your keyword), and leave a comment on the Jacksonbelle blog with a link to your card.  Also, be sure to check out the Jacksonbelle Embellishments store, lots of new stuff has been added, including Imaginisce, Pink Paislee, Stampavie and Jenni Bowlin at 30% off.  Use code JBEEMAIL and get 10% off your entire order.

Instructions:
  • Create white A2 card base and use Corner Chomp to round upper and lower right corners.
  • Stamp flower images in Versamark ink onto 1" strip of dark blue CS, then heat set with white embossing powder before adhering to card base.
  • Punch scallop strip from light blue CS, adhere to card base, then attach brown ribbon.
  • Stamp sentiment onto white CS, round corners, and then layer onto dark blue and brown CS.
  • Adhere sentiment to card base, and embellish upper right corner with rhinestones.

Supplies:
Stamps - Basic Grey Clear Stamps
Ink - Versamark, Spring Rain
Paper - Stamper's Select White, Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, Dark Chocolate
Miscellaneous - White Embossing Powder, Dark Chocolate Grosgrain, Brown Rhinestones, Deco Scallop Punch, Corner Chomp

  2. Like what you did with the colors…and of course your sprinkling of bling. I like that this isn’t terribly girly – even with the bow and bling – and can be for a male too.
