Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge - Sketch Time!

Hi everyone! It is super sunny here today in Columbia, and I'm lovin' it! :) Looks like Spring is *finally* trying to bust through and take hold. Woot! There's something about sunshine that just puts a pep in my step and gives me so much more energy, and believe me, I *need* all the help I can get. :) LOL

It's Tuesday, so it's time for another Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge. Our challenge this week was to create a card based off of a sketch, and this is what I came up with! I used this sweet image from My Umbrella (by MFT Pure Innocence), and some happy Making Memories Flutter paper... So cute! :)

Want to play along with us? Just upload a project to your blog or SCS gallery (using JBE096 as your keyword), and leave a comment on the Jacksonbelle blog with a link to your card.  Also, be sure to check out the Jacksonbelle Embellishments store, Stampavie, ZVA Creative and the Basic Grey Kioshi & Green at Heart lines are in stock!

Instructions:
  • Create A2 card base using kraft CS.
  • Stamp background image on left side of card base.
  • Adhere patterned paper to the card base, then punch purple scallop edge and attach.
  • Use Corner Chomp to round upper right corner.
  • Stamp image onto white CS and cut out with Nestabilities die before coloring with copics.
  • Adhere strip of satin ribbon to card base, attach image with pop dots, then adhere bow.

Supplies:
Stamps - My Umbrella (My Favorite Things), Mega Mixed Messages, Background Basics: Tin Types
Paper - Kraft, Bazzill Textured CS (purple), Stamper's Select White, Making Memories Flutter
Ink - Stazon Black, Fresh Snow, Copics
Miscellaneous - Hot Pink Satin Ribbon, Nestabilities Labels 4, Corner Chomp, Deco Scallop Punch
