Digital Doodles - Sunshine, Sand & Smiles

Hi, everyone... Just popping in to share an 8 1/2" x 11" layout I created using this week's Digital Doodles image released over at Two Peas, Party Hats. Yes, you read that correctly, party hats. LOL, I know, I know, there aren't any hats on my layout! :) The stamp set is actually a set of three digi party hats... One striped, one with polka dots, and one without a pattern. I thought they would make super cute windmill flowers, and they did! Sa-weet! :)

These photos were taken of my daughter during our trip to the Outer Banks last year. It was her first time seeing the ocean, and like her mama, she preferred to stay on dry land. LOL! I love to watch the ocean, and listen to the sounds of the waves rolling in, but I have this uhhhm *issue* about being in murky water. I'll be honest, it freaks me out a little. LOL, luckily for me, we rented a house that had an in-ground pool, so I got to spend a lot of time in the water *and* see my surroundings at the same time. Tee hee.

Have a great one!

Supplies:
Stamps - Party Hats (Digital Doodles)
Paper - Tricia Chapman Bubblegum Fun
Ink - None
Miscellaneous - None

  2. Firstly, what sweet pics of your girl!
Secondly, what a genius way of using a Party Hat!!!! I love it - totally thinking outside of the box!
Thirdly, I'm with you and your girl, I'll paddle up to my knees but that's as much of me as the ocean is getting LOL!
