Countdown to Confetti: Oliver Owl & Winning

Hello! :) Today is the first of the sneak peek days for the May Reverse Confetti release (which also happens to be their 1 year anniversary!!).  We're featuring cards/projects created using the new Quirky Cuties: Oliver Owl and Winning sets.

For my card today, I used the new Oliver Owl set, and started by first cutting a tag shape from white CS, and stamping the background with one of the sentiments from the set in orange, yellow and turquoise ink.  Next, I stamped owl in Stazon, then colored him with watercolor paints.

While the owl was drying, I die cut the scallop shape using the Double Border Scallop Die.  I then stamped the happy birthday sentiment in Versamark onto orange CS, then heat embossed with white powder.  Three silver glitter stars were then die cut using the new Oh My Stars dies.  Next, I assembled the various elements of the tag, and embellished with orange grosgrain ribbon and yellow baker's twine.
