Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peek Blog Hop Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to DAY 2 of the ...

This week we are releasing 3 new clear stamp sets and 4 coordinating die/die sets, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and all good Whimsy Stamps retailers TOMORROW.

Yesterday we introduced THANKS A MILLION and BASIC BACKGROUNDS AND BORDERS 1, and today we are excited to introduce you to SAY WHAT? stamp sets and dies!

To create my card, I started with a gray card base, then stamped it with the chevron strip from Basic Backgrounds in Versamark ink.  Next, I created a text background using a lot of the words from the Say What? stamp set, then stamped them onto white CS with light gray ink.  I used the large speech bubble die to cut the bottom of the white CS, then adhered it to a piece of melon CS before trimming the edge to create a mat layer.  I then die cut the Happy word die from melon CS, and stamped birthday ink Versamark onto light gray CS before heat embossing with white powder.  The speech bubble was adhered to the card front with pop dots after attaching the sentiments, and to finish up, I embellished with coral enamel dots.
