Friendship Blog Hop - Hello, Adventure!

Hello! Today the Whimsy DT members are hosting a  friendship hop in honor of a special member of the Whimsy Stamps family, Simonne Clay. Simonne has been a fixture here at Whimsy for many years, and we all just wanted to show our appreciation for all that she does for each of us, and for sharing her amazing talent as an illustrator.  Hopefully you've reached my blog by way of Danni Bindel's blog. Simonne - I have really enjoyed getting to know you over the past year through the Whimsy Stamps DT! You are an amazing designer (and cardmaker to boot!), and I wish you all the best in the New Year and beyond!! ♥

To create today's card, I started with a piece of hot pink patterned paper, and adhered a small strip of polka dot paper to the left side.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from Happy Hello onto mint CS before heat embossing in white.  I then adhered the sentiment to the patterned paper.

I used the Hello Word Die on a piece of silver glitter CS, then adhered the die cut to the front of the card with pop dots.  Next, I adhered the pink patterned paper to the card base with pop dots.  To finish up, I embellished with green gems.
