Hello! :) Today marks the first of the sneak peek days for Winnie & Walter's January release. For our projects today, we're featuring the new the Big, the Bold and Party set, which is in the vein of the other "the Big, the Bold and..." sets. I am SO in love with the fonts Julie and Shay selected to be included in this series, and I'm always so excited to see new words being added to the mix. I love that the larger words can take center stage (which is great for a CAS girlie like me!) on a card, and are big enough not to get lost on a scrapbook layout. Just a really versatile font!
To create my card today, I started with a medium gray card base, and stamped the tree leaves image from A Tree for All Seasons in versamark before heat embossing with white powder. I then stamped the main portion of the sentiment from the Big, the Bold and Party in teal ink onto white CS, then fussy cut it out once the ink dried. Next, I stamped the remainder of the sentiment in versamark onto mint CS, then heat embossed with white powder. I trimmed one end of the mint CS into a flag shape, then adhered the CS strip to the card front with pop dots. The fussy cut sentiment was then adhered to the card front with pop dots before being covered with stickles. To finish up, I embellished with silver glitter enamel dots.
