Hello! I am sooooo excited and honored to be a part of the Spring 2015 Essentials by Ellen Release Hop! Today, I’ll be showcasing some of the new stamp sets and dies in my post, and I also get to give away a copy of the new Bohemian Garden stamp set to one lucky commenter!
The fun begins in the CLASSroom and there is also a Grand Giveaway! To enter, be sure to leave a comment there, and at every stop along the hop by May 5th! Winners will be announced May 8th.
I created two cards today using the Bohemian Garden stamp set and matching dies.
For my first card, I started by stamping several flower and leaf images in versamark ink onto watercolor paper, then heat embossing them with white powder. I then colored them in with distress inks and set them aside to dry. Once the images were dry, I cut them out using the Bohemian Garden dies.
I fiddled with the arrangement of the flowers/leaves for a bit, then once I had a rough idea for the layout, I stamped three buds and the sentiment (from Mondo Magnolia) in versamark and heat embossed them with white powder. The flowers and leaves were then adhered to the card front with pop dots. To finish up, I embellished with silver enamel dots.
For my next card, I started with a mint card base, and stamped many of the images from Bohemian Garden in versamark ink before heat embossing with white powder. I then cut two strips of orange CS in varying widths, and adhered them to the card base.
Next, I die cut the sentiment using the Be-YOU-Tiful designer dies on silver glitter CS and adhered it to the card base. To finish up, I embellished with orange enamel dots.
Here's the complete preview of the Bohemian Garden stamp set (which I'll be giving away to one lucky commenter):
