TAWS Sneak Peek - Slurp

Hello! I'm joining the other fab ladies on the Alley Way Stamps DT today to preview the new Slurp stamp set, which features a bunch of cool treats!

To create my card, I started by stamping six popsicle images in stazon ink, then coloring them with watercolors once the ink had dried.  While the popsicles were drying, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in versafine ink onto a strip of white CS before trimming the ends into a banner shape.

Once the popsicles were dry, I trimmed them out, then fiddle with their arrangement for a while on a piece of white CS until I was satisfied with their layout.  I then quickly adhered them to the card front with pop dots before I could change my mind and mess with them again (hehe).  To finish up, I adhered the cardstock strip with pop dots, covered the popsicles with stickles, then embellished with black enamel dots.
