You're Such a Deer

Hello! I can't believe tomorrow is Friday... Time needs to sloooooow down! I'm so not ready for Halloween next week.  Between DT deadlines, work, my Etsy shop, and home life, time is pretty much tapped out. Lol, oh well, who needs to sleep, right?? ;)

I created this card for the latest Reverse Confetti release, but hadn't had a chance to share it yet here on my blog.  I love, love, love that sweet little reindeer! It's probably one of my all-time faves, it's just the cutest little thing. :) To create my card, I started by die cutting a circle using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts on one of the Tis the Season QCPs, then backing it with acetate.  I then stamped one of the sentiments from Jolly Holiday in Versafine black ink, and some snowflake clusters in fuchsia ink before creating the shaker element.

I then tied some Solid Maraschino Twine around the QCP and tied it off with a bow.  The panel was then adhered to a piece of textured pink CS before attaching it to a kraft card base.  The reindeer was stamped in Versafine ink before heat embossing with clear powder and coloring with watercolors.  Once the image was dry, I cut it out using the coordinating Jolly Holiday Confetti Cuts and adhered it to the card front with pop dots.  To finish up, I embellished with red enamel dots.

Have a great one!
