November SFYTT - You're Such a Deer

Hello, November! It's the first of the month, which means it's time for a new RC sketch challenge! :)

To create my card, I started by trimming off about an inch from the top and side of the polka dotted QCP, then cutting it in half and adhering the two cut pieces together offset.  I then used one of the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts on a piece of pink CS, then adhered it to the back of the QCPs before attaching them to a medium gray card base with foam tape.

I then stamped the deer image from Jolly Holiday in Versafine ink, heat set it with clear powder, then colored it with watercolor markers.  Once the image was dry, I then die cut it with the coordinating Jolly Holiday Confetti Cuts before coloring the reindeer's antlers with a silver glitter pen.  The sentiment was stamped in Versafine ink onto light gray CS, then adhered to the back of a strip of green CS.  To finish up, I adhered the green CS strip and deer to the card front with pop dots, then embellished with clear sequins.

Want to play along with us this month and be entered to win a gift certificate to the RC store? All you need to do is create a card based on the sketch using RC stamps, and link it up to the post HERE on the Reverse Confetti blog by noon CST on the 30th... Easy peasy! :)

Have a great one!
