Hello! Less than a day to go until Thanksgiving, and exactly a month until my birthday. Whew! This year is flyyyyyying by. Just popping in today to share a card I created using Winnie & Walter's new limited edition stamp set, Bigger Bang Confetti, which is free with any qualifying $35 purchase. To create my card for today, I started by heat embossing the diamond star shapes and the large hi sentiment with white embossing powder. I then colored in the diamond shapes with purple watercolor pens and covered them with sugared Stickles. Next, I added a mint/aqua watercolor wash to the background of the stamped layer.
Once the layer was pretty dry, I then went back over the entire panel with a watered down pearl watercolor, and boy oh boy, this card is *shiny*. Lol. It makes for a really pretty effect when holding the card in your hands. To finish up my design, I used the coordinating Big Bang Confetti Cutaways on silver glitter CS, then adhered them to the stamp layer, then adhered the panel to a medium gray card base.
