RC Spring Fling Blog Hop - Happy Spring

Hello! Reverse Confetti is having a blog hop today to celebrate one of my favorite things in the whole wide world... SPRING. ♥ I don't know about you, but I'm ready to give winter the boot.  No more frozen fingers, brown grass, and mud.  This girl is ready for blossoming trees & flowers, sunshine and the return of songbirds. :)

To create my project for today, I started by first filling one of the Frosted Pillow Boxes with some strawberry shortcake M&Ms.  I loved the pretty pastel shades of color on the candies, and decided to build my project around them.  After filling the pillow box with candy, I then wrapped a piece of light pink grosgrain ribbon around the box, securing it in the front.  Next, I die cut a piece of white CS using the largest butterfly from the Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts, and stamped it with the flower images from Rose Garden in pink and orange-yellow inks.

The Flowers For Mom Confetti Cuts were used on a piece of yellow textured CS to create the pointed scallop, which was then adhered to a white scallop circle created using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts.  I then added teensy little pink pearls around the edge of the scalloped circle layer before securing the die cut to the pillow box with Scor-tape.  To finish up, one of the sentiments from Hippity Hoppity was stamped in Versafine black ink onto the center of the butterfly die cut, then the layer was adhered to the scallop circle w/foam tape.
