PTI Embossed Resist Challenge

Hi everyone, TGIF! :) The snow has started falling in our area, and when all is said and done, we should have somewhere in the neighborhood of 30"... Oh joy. *wink* LOL, at least I didn't really have anywhere to go this weekend, though I just know my hubby is going to campaign to try to get me to watch the Super Bowl with him on Sunday. Hmmmm... Several hours of watching football... Or several hours stamping? What should I choose? LOL

Sorry for the terrible photo... We're getting a bunch of snow here, and the light coming in through the window was a little off... *sigh*

This card was created for the most recent Papertrey Ink Birthday Bash Challenge: emboss resist. It's been forever since I've used this technique, and I almost forgot how fun it is!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! :)

Instructions:
  • Create 2 7/8" x 4" card base using black CS.
  • Cut 2 5/8" x 3 3/4" piece of white CS and stamp with light pink polka dots.
  • Stamp flower image with versamark ink, sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set.
  • Sponge hot pink ink over entire piece of white CS, allow to sit for a minute then rub off ink from flowers using baby wipe.
  • Round upper left corner of image and adhere to card base.
  • Use punch to scallop strip of black CS.
  • Adhere ribbon to scallop strip and attach to card base.
  • Stamp sentiment and embellish with rhinestones.
  • Adhere bow.

Supplies:
Stamps - Polka Dot Basics 2, Spiral Bouquet, Mega Mixed Messages
Ink - Raspberry Fizz, Sweet Blush, Stazon Black, Versamark
Paper - True Black, Stamper's Select White
